Rabat–Salé Airport posted a strong performance in 2025, recording a significant increase in passenger traffic, according to the latest figures released by Morocco’s National Airports Office (ONDA).
The airport handled a total of 2,169,189 passengers in 2025, marking a 25.69% increase compared to 2024, when traffic stood at 1,725,812 travelers. The results confirm the sustained growth of air travel demand in the Moroccan capital region.
December 2025 Confirms Upward Trend
The positive momentum was also evident in December 2025. During the final month of the year, Rabat–Salé Airport welcomed 199,613 passengers, representing a 16.34% rise compared to the same period in 2024, when 171,573 passengers were recorded.
Airport Movements Rise Sharply
In parallel with passenger growth, aircraft movements increased substantially. The airport recorded 15,334 movements in 2025, up 25.66% from the 12,203 movements registered the previous year.
December alone saw a 19.55% increase in movements, with 1,437 takeoffs and landings compared to 1,202 in December 2024.
National Air Traffic Continues to Expand
At the national level, Moroccan airports welcomed a total of 36.3 million passengers in 2025, reflecting an overall growth of 11% compared to 2024, according to ONDA data.
These figures highlight Morocco’s continued recovery and expansion in air transport, driven by tourism growth, improved connectivity, and increasing demand for domestic and international travel.
