Morocco is making a strong statement at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2026 in Madrid, confirming its ambition to consolidate its position as a leading global travel destination. Held from 21 to 25 January 2026 at IFEMA, FITUR is one of the world’s most influential tourism trade fairs, bringing together industry leaders, tour operators, investors and media from key international markets.

ONMT Highlights Morocco’s Tourism Momentum at FITUR 2026

Led by the Office National Marocain du Tourisme, Morocco’s participation reflects the momentum generated by a record-breaking year in 2025, during which the Kingdom welcomed nearly 20 million international visitors. The Moroccan pavilion, significantly expanded for this edition, highlights the country’s strategic shift toward sustainable growth, destination diversification and higher value tourism.

A Strong Delegation and a Diversified Tourism Offer

With a delegation of more than 200 tourism professionals, Morocco is showcasing a comprehensive and diversified offer that spans imperial cities, seaside destinations, desert tourism, cultural heritage and nature-based experiences in the Atlas Mountains. The pavilion also places emphasis on regional destinations, underlining Morocco’s objective to distribute tourism flows more evenly across the country.

Beyond destination promotion, FITUR serves as a platform for strengthening partnerships with European and Latin American markets, particularly Spain, one of Morocco’s key source markets. Meetings with tour operators, airlines and investors are central to Morocco’s agenda.

Through its presence at FITUR Madrid, Morocco is not only promoting its tourism assets but also reinforcing its long-term vision: positioning the Kingdom as a competitive, innovative and resilient tourism hub on the global stage.
