The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is moving forward with a major digital transformation project valued at more than 37.8 million dirhams, marking a new phase in the modernization of Moroccan football governance. Led by FRMF president Fouzi Lekjaa, the initiative involves an international tender for advanced IT equipment and infrastructure.
The project, managed by “Agence nationale des équipements publics” as delegated authority, targets FRMF headquarters and the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora. Central to the plan is the deployment of a next-generation data center aimed at improving data processing, storage capacity, and cybersecurity resilience.
By replacing outdated systems with scalable and secure digital solutions, the federation aims to ensure service continuity and protect sensitive data against growing cyber risks. Beyond its technical scope, this investment reflects FRMF’s broader strategy to align digital governance with sporting ambition, reinforcing Morocco’s position as a leading force in African and international football.
