The new service serves the highly productive Northeast region of Italy, facilitating both business and leisure travel. With booking levels already reflecting the record-breaking performance of 2025, the route is set to be a key pillar in RAM’s European network this summer.
Three Weekly Flights Starting June 21
The service will officially launch on June 21, 2026, with three weekly rotations. Flights are scheduled to operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, offering flexible options for the 13,000-strong Moroccan community in Verona and business travelers from the region.
Casablanca as a Strategic Transit Hub
Beyond point-to-point travel, the Verona route is designed to feed Royal Air Maroc’s primary hub in Casablanca. The airline reports that approximately 35% to 40% of passengers departing from Italy are transit travelers using Casablanca as a gateway to:
- Sub-Saharan Africa: Seamless connections to major capitals.
- The Americas: Direct links to North and South American destinations.
- Regional Morocco: Connecting the diaspora to various domestic airports.

Fleet Expansion Supports Long-Term Growth
To support this aggressive network expansion, Royal Air Maroc is undergoing a massive fleet modernization. Following the delivery of twelve aircraft in 2025, the airline currently operates 62 planes. This is only the beginning of a long-term roadmap to operate 200 aircraft by 2037, with the fleet expected to double before 2030.
