Air Connectivity and Events Drive Record Growth
Morocco is gaining strong momentum in the Polish travel market, with visitor numbers more than doubling this winter season. According to Polish daily Rzeczpospolita, the number of Polish tourists choosing Morocco for winter holidays increased by 120% compared to the previous season.
The publication highlights Morocco’s hospitality, vibrant medinas filled with spice aromas, and diverse landscapes as key attractions for Polish travelers. Cultural authenticity combined with warm winter temperatures has positioned the Kingdom as a compelling alternative to traditional European destinations.
Major events have also played a role. The hosting of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations enhanced Morocco’s visibility across European markets, including Poland. Improved air connectivity from Warsaw and Katowice further facilitated travel, reducing barriers for first-time visitors.
Rising Purchasing Power and Organized Travel Growth
The trend reflects broader changes in Polish outbound tourism. Organized travel bookings for winter 2025–2026 increased by 20% compared to the previous season, supported by growing purchasing power and expanded flight networks.
For Morocco, this surge strengthens its diversification strategy beyond traditional Western European markets. As new air routes open and promotional visibility increases, Poland emerges as a dynamic growth market within Morocco’s expanding tourism portfolio ahead of 2030.
