FIFA Delegation Visits Morocco
As part of its International Talent Development Program, FIFA conducted two official working visits to Morocco to closely examine the implementation of the national training strategy.
During these visits, the FIFA delegation toured several leading Moroccan clubs, including:
- Wydad Athletic Club (WAC)
- Raja Club Athletic (RCA)

- Renaissance Sportive de Berkane (RSB)
FIFA representatives expressed strong admiration for the structured training systems, youth academies, and professional standards implemented within these clubs.
Modernizing Infrastructure and Training Facilities

The financial support will focus primarily on:
- Modernization of training facilities
- Upgrading sports infrastructure
- Enhancing youth development environments
- Improving technical resources for academies
Funds will be distributed through the FRMF, ensuring that each club’s specific needs, as outlined in the National Talent Development Program, are properly addressed.
Developing the Developers
To further strengthen Morocco’s football ecosystem, FIFA has also announced an upcoming conference scheduled for April. The event will focus on improving the level of Moroccan trainers and youth development specialists.
This initiative reflects a long-term vision: investing not only in players but also in the educators, coaches, and technical directors who shape the next generation of Moroccan football talent.
A Model for Africa?
Impressed by Morocco’s structured and sustainable approach, FIFA is considering positioning the FRMF program as a model for other African nations.
The recognition confirms Morocco’s growing leadership role in continental football development, aligning with the country’s broader sports ambitions and infrastructure expansion ahead of major international competitions.
A Strategic Vision for the Future
The collaboration between FIFA and the FRMF highlights Morocco’s commitment to building a competitive, youth-driven football system rooted in long-term planning and institutional support.
With international recognition, structured funding, and technical expertise, Morocco continues to reinforce its status as one of Africa’s most dynamic football development hubs.
