Jidar Festival 2026 returns to Rabat from April 16 to 26, transforming the Moroccan capital into a vibrant open-air museum. With 15 new murals, a strong focus on Moroccan artists, and a rich cultural program, this 11th edition celebrates transmission, creativity, and urban dialogue.

For over a decade, Jidar has played a key role in embedding street art into Rabat’s cultural identity. Each year, the festival transforms city walls into powerful visual narratives, turning neighborhoods into spaces of artistic expression and social connection.
The 2026 edition reinforces this mission by placing transmission and the Moroccan art scene at the heart of its “Urban Dialogues,” creating a living exchange between artists and residents.
15 New Murals Across the City
The highlight of the festival is the creation of 15 large-scale murals across Rabat, forming a dynamic visual map of contemporary street art.
This year places special emphasis on Moroccan artists, showcasing the richness and diversity of a local scene that continues to gain international recognition.

Jidar 2026 brings together artists from around the world, each contributing their unique style while engaging with the identity of Rabat’s neighborhoods.

- Yacoub El Mansour: Ruído duo (Portugal) and Keya Tama (South Africa)
- El Youssoufia & Agdal-Riad: Marina Capdevila and Guillem Font (Spain), Jumu Monster (Peru/Chile), Azpeger (Ecuador), alongside Moroccan artists Rosh, Ritanosko, Mizmiz, and RDS

The Collective Wall: A Space for Transmission
A central feature of the festival, the Collective Wall highlights collaboration and artistic learning.
From April 20 to 26, twelve young artists and art students will participate in this shared creation space under the artistic direction of Bakr. A former participant himself, Bakr embodies the spirit of transmission, where knowledge is passed through hands-on experience.
