Rixos Hotels Expands into Morocco with $300M Luxury Resort Investment

Rixos Hotels has confirmed a $300 million partnership with Morocco’s Groupe Alliances to develop three luxury resorts in Marrakech and Larache. The project, including 950 rooms and 110 villas, strengthens Morocco’s high-end tourism offer ahead of AFCON 2025 and the 2030 World Cup.

Rixos Hotels is entering Morocco through a strategic partnership with Groupe Alliances, launching a $300 million (3 billion dirhams) investment to develop three luxury resorts. This expansion reinforces Morocco’s position as a fast-growing global hub for high-end tourism.

The ambitious project includes two resorts in Marrakech and one in Larache, totaling approximately 950 rooms and 110 villas. Construction is expected to begin in 2026, with openings scheduled before 2029.
