Royal Air Maroc Launches 32 Special Flights for Morocco Fans at World Cup 2026

Royal Air Maroc has announced 32 special flights to transport Moroccan supporters to the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the United States. The airline will serve New York, Boston, and Atlanta with more than 8,800 additional seats. Special round-trip fares will be available for Moroccan fans following the Lions of the Atlas during the tournament.

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has announced a major air travel operation to transport Moroccan supporters to the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the United States.

The national airline will operate 32 special flights during the group stage of the tournament, allowing thousands of supporters to follow the Lions of the Atlas across North America.

The initiative covers the period between June 13 and June 24, 2026, with special services planned for New York, Boston, and Atlanta.

More Than 8,800 Additional Seats for Moroccan Fans

Royal Air Maroc confirmed that the operation will add more than 8,800 extra seats to meet the strong expected demand from Moroccan supporters.

The airline says the flights will support fans traveling to attend Morocco’s group-stage matches during the World Cup.

For the first time in its history, Royal Air Maroc will also operate direct flights to Atlanta, expanding its North American network for the tournament.

Special Fixed Fare for Supporters

To facilitate travel for Moroccan fans, Royal Air Maroc announced a special promotional fare:

  • 10,000 Moroccan dirhams round-trip
  • Economy class
  • Fixed travel dates
  • Non-refundable tickets

Ticket sales will officially begin on May 20, 2026.

Fans can reserve flights through Royal Air Maroc’s official platform.

12 Special Flights to New York

Royal Air Maroc will operate 12 additional direct flights to New York.

Departure flights are scheduled for:

  • June 11, 2026
  • June 12, 2026
  • June 13, 2026

Return flights are planned for:

  • June 14, 2026
  • June 15, 2026

The operation is expected to transport more than 3,300 Moroccan supporters.

Combined with RAM’s regular daily services, the airline expects to carry nearly 7,500 fans to New York during the competition.

Boston Flights Strengthened for Morocco Matches

Royal Air Maroc will also launch 12 direct special flights to Boston.

Return flights:

  • June 20, 2026
  • June 21, 2026
  • June 22, 2026

These flights are expected to carry an additional 3,300 supporters.

Atlanta Added to RAM’s Network for the First Time

One of the biggest announcements is the launch of direct flights to Atlanta, a destination never previously operated by Royal Air Maroc.

The company will operate 8 special flights for supporters traveling to Morocco’s matches.

More than 2,200 Moroccan supporters are expected to travel through this route.

Wide-Body Aircraft and Expanded Capacity

Royal Air Maroc confirmed that all special flights will be operated using wide-body aircraft offering high comfort and safety standards for long-haul transatlantic travel.

The airline says the operation forms part of its mission as Morocco’s national carrier and ambassador brand.

Hamid Addou Highlights National Support

Royal Air Maroc CEO Hamid Addou explained that the company wanted to continue supporting Moroccan fans after similar operations during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

According to Addou, the airline is mobilizing all operational, technical, and human resources necessary to support Morocco’s participation and promote the Kingdom internationally.

He emphasized that the company remains fully committed to standing behind the Lions of the Atlas during the tournament.

World Cup 2026 Expected to Attract Massive Moroccan Support

Morocco’s growing popularity on the international football stage is expected to generate strong travel demand throughout the tournament.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be the largest edition in history, featuring:

  • 48 national teams
  • 104 matches
  • 16 host cities
  • Three host countries

The competition begins on June 11, 2026, in Mexico City and concludes on July 19, 2026, at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
