CAF Releases Comprehensive Fan Entry Guidelines for AFCON 2025 Stadiums in Morocco
According alyaoum24, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has published a complete guide outlining the rules and procedures for fans attending the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. The document aims to ensure smooth, safe and well-organised entry into all tournament stadiums while maintaining public safety and preventing disruptions.

Entry Allowed Only for Valid Ticket Holders

CAF confirmed that stadium access will be strictly limited to spectators holding a valid match ticket and a Fan ID, this includes minors. Fans must keep their ticket for the entire duration of the match, as re-entry will not be allowed once a spectator leaves the stadium before the final whistle.

Children under 16 will not be permitted entry unless accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons, CAF advises against bringing children under three years old. Every spectator, regardless of age, must have an individual ticket, and all fans are required to sit in their assigned seats, children may not sit on laps.

Security Measures and Health Requirements

To preserve public safety, CAF may impose additional health or security checks, such as body screening, inspection of personal belongings or verification of health certificates when necessary. Anyone showing signs of intoxication or drug consumption will be denied entry without refund.

All fans will undergo security screening, and event staff or security officers are authorized to conduct searches in accordance with Moroccan law. Any person refusing to comply will be denied entry.

Prohibited Items Inside AFCON 2025 Stadiums

CAF published an extensive list of items strictly banned from stadiums. These include:

  • Weapons, sharp objects and any dangerous tools
  • Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs and laser pointers
  • Flammable materials, glass bottles, heavy objects and large bags
  • Alcoholic beverages or illegal substances
  • Racist, violent or discriminatory banners
  • Unauthorized political, religious or commercial signs
  • Drones, large umbrellas and oversized hats
  • Professional cameras, musical instruments, vuvuzelas and loud horns
  • Animals and components for electric scooters or bikes
  • Any device emitting radio frequencies (except mobile phones)

CAF notes that these items may pose risks to public order and safety. Based on Moroccan law, particularly articles 303 and beyond of the Penal Code, individuals violating these rules can face legal consequences.

Obligations of Fans Inside the Stadium

Spectators must follow all instructions issued by police, security, firefighters, stewards or medical teams. This includes seat changes when required for safety reasons.

Event organizers reserve the right to remove or refuse entry to anyone whose behavior or appearance may disturb the match, threaten public order or cause discomfort to other spectators. No demonstrations, commercial activities or unauthorized selling will be permitted inside or around stadiums without written approval from CAF.

Respect Above All

CAF concluded its guidelines by emphasizing that respect for others is a fundamental value. Any breach of stadium regulations may result in immediate expulsion without compensation or ticket refund.
