The organization of Africa Cup of Nations matches hosted in Fès has received official praise from regional authorities. According to L’Économiste, the Wali of the Fès–Meknès region commended the “exemplary” organization put in place for the tournament fixtures.
The assessment followed on-site evaluations covering security arrangements, crowd management, and coordination between local authorities and organizing teams. Officials highlighted the smooth flow of spectators and the effectiveness of operational measures inside and around the stadium.
The positive feedback reinforces Fès’s ability to host major continental sporting events and contributes to the broader recognition of Morocco’s organizational standards during AFCON.
