International producer and distributor RedOne is preparing to launch a new artistic project titled “AFCON”, an album expected to bring together a wide range of Moroccan and international music stars. The project reflects RedOne’s ambition to inject fresh creative energy into the Moroccan and Arab music scenes while expanding cross-genre and cross-border collaborations.
According to information reported by Hespress, the “AFCON” album will include a mix of solo tracks and collaborative songs, including large-scale duets designed to unite leading Moroccan artists with foreign performers in original musical pairings.
High-Profile Collaborations Announced
Sources indicate that the album will feature a joint track bringing together Nouamane Belaiachi, Manal Benchlikha, and Zouhair Bahaoui, in a song aimed at resonating with younger audiences and reflecting current musical trends.
Another collaboration is expected to unite Aminux, Hind Ziadi, and Mehdi Mozayine, blending expressive songwriting with contemporary production.
The album is also set to include a festive track bringing together Hatim Ammor, the group Fnaire, and Salma Rachid, alongside an international collaboration featuring Asmaa Lmnawar and a foreign artist, highlighting a clear push toward global reach.
International Dimension and AFCON Context
The project is also expected to involve the French artist GIMS and Moroccan star Saad Lamjarred, who is reported to be filming his contribution in France. RedOne has also reportedly been in contact with other international rappers and global artists, underlining the scale of ambition behind the album.
The “AFCON” album is closely linked to Morocco’s hosting of the Africa Cup of Nations, positioning the project as a symbolic cultural companion to the continental tournament. Through this release, RedOne aims to celebrate African identity, Morocco’s organizational momentum, and the unifying power of music at a time when the country is at the center of major sporting events.
With his extensive international career and collaborations with global stars, RedOne’s latest project is expected to reinforce his role as a key figure in promoting Moroccan and African music beyond regional borders, while maintaining a strong cultural signature rooted in identity and celebration.
