As Tangier prepares to host several matches of AFCON 2025, local authorities are rolling out practical tools to support smooth matchday operations. A dedicated digital platform has been launched to help fans access Tangier Grand Stadium easily and safely.

A dedicated access platform for Tangier Grand Stadium

Tangier Mobility, the city’s local development company, has launched a special website dedicated to stadium access during the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.

The platform, available in Arabic, French, and English, explains how to reach Tangier Grand Stadium depending on the chosen mode of transport. It will remain active during the six AFCON 2025 matches hosted at the venue, from December 23, 2025 to January 14, 2026.

Parking areas and free shuttle services

The website provides clear and practical information on available parking areas near the stadium, as well as parking zones located in the city center connected to the stadium by free shuttle buses.

On matchdays, ticket holders will benefit from free round-trip shuttle services linking Tangier City railway station, Tangier City Port, and Tangier Grand Stadium. Additional shuttles will operate from central parking areas, including Rabat Road, the Corniche, and the Arab League Square (Riad Tétouan).

The first shuttle departures are scheduled four hours before kick-off, ensuring gradual and organized access to the stadium.

Traffic management and alternative routes

For drivers, the platform outlines temporary traffic diversions and recommended alternative routes. These measures are coordinated with local authorities to reduce congestion and limit the impact of matchday traffic on urban mobility.

This access initiative is part of Tangier Mobility’s broader strategy to improve fan experience and efficiently manage transport flows during major sporting events hosted by the city.
