Is Morocco planning to host AFCON 2028? A federation official responds

According to the same source, all stakeholders are currently fully focused on ensuring the success of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which Morocco is hosting. “The CAF has not even announced the opening of the bidding process for the organisation of AFCON 2028,” the official stressed.

The next Africa Cup of Nations after Morocco 2025 will take place in the summer of 2027, co-hosted by Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya, from June 19 to July 18.
