The Local Organizing Committee of the CAN in partnership with the Office of Vocational Training and Work Promotion (OFPPT) has announced the mobilization of 15,000 volunteers across all host cities to support the organization of the tournament. This initiative reflects Morocco’s commitment to delivering a world-class sporting experience and promoting youth participation in national projects.
Training and Excellence in Service
Launched by the Local Organizing Committee of the CAN in partnership with the Office of Vocational Training and Work Promotion (OFPPT), this training program aims to guide young people in tasks related to welcoming, assisting, and supporting fans both in stadiums and public spaces. Supervised by more than 150 trainers across 70 OFPPT centers, this initiative seeks to highlight Moroccan hospitality and professionalism while strengthening the values of cultural exchange and teamwork between Moroccan and African volunteers.
Youth Engagement and National Pride
Beyond logistics, the volunteer program is designed to highlight the values of solidarity, teamwork, and civic pride. Young Moroccans see this as an opportunity to contribute to a historic event while developing their skills for future careers. The program also aligns with the country’s vision of empowering youth and strengthening Morocco’s soft power through sports diplomacy.
Morocco’s Broader Vision for CAN 2025
The organization of CAN 2025 goes beyond football, it represents a platform to showcase Morocco’s infrastructure, cultural diversity, and hospitality. The initiative builds on previous large-scale events, confirming the nation’s growing leadership in Africa’s sports and tourism sectors.
