Four days after the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) issued an official statement addressed to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), praising Morocco for the successful organization of the continental tournament.
An official message of appreciation to the FRMF
In a formal letter sent on Thursday, January 22, the Tunisian Football Federation, chaired by Moez Nasri, congratulated the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and its president, Fouzi Lekjaa, for the organization of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025.
“The brotherly Kingdom of Morocco has once again demonstrated great organizational capacity and a high level of professionalism in hosting major sporting events, bringing honor to African and Arab football,” the statement said.
Recognition of hospitality and professionalism
The Tunisian federation also expressed its gratitude for the warm reception extended to the Tunisian delegation throughout the tournament. According to the statement, the quality of hospitality, reception, and the provision of optimal conditions for comfort and serenity reflected Morocco’s long-standing tradition of hospitality.
“We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for the excellent welcome given to the Tunisian delegation, the quality of hospitality, and the ideal conditions provided, which come as no surprise from the brotherly Moroccan people,” the communiqué added.
A benchmark edition for African football
The FTF further emphasized that the organizational success of CAN 2025 reflects Morocco’s clear vision and sustained efforts in developing sports infrastructure. According to the Tunisian federation, this edition represents a landmark moment in the history of African football.
“This success reflects your enlightened vision and the considerable efforts deployed to develop sports infrastructure, making this edition a shining milestone in the continent’s history,” the statement noted.

Strengthening ties between Morocco and Tunisia
The Tunisian Football Federation concluded its message by wishing continued success and prosperity to Moroccan football, while reaffirming its commitment to strengthening bonds of fraternity and cooperation between the two federations.
