As Morocco prepares to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, the National Airports Office (ONDA) is bringing the excitement of the tournament directly to airport terminals. ONDA has announced the installation of specially designed fan zones within airport departure areas, allowing travelers and transit passengers to follow matches live during AFCON 2025.

AFCON excitement reaches airport terminals

Through these dedicated fan zones, passengers will be able to watch matches in real time, celebrate every goal and immerse themselves in the electric atmosphere of Africa’s biggest football competition, even while traveling.

This initiative ensures that the passion of football accompanies fans beyond stadiums, transforming waiting times at airports into moments of shared excitement and entertainment.

“Welcome Football, Welcome Fans” campaign

The project is part of ONDA’s broader campaign titled Welcome Football, Welcome Fans”, which reflects the institution’s ambition to turn airport infrastructure into spaces of experience, interaction and hospitality.

In close collaboration with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), ONDA aims to support the smooth delivery of this major continental and international sporting event while enhancing the overall travel experience.

Airports as gateways to AFCON 2025

With millions of supporters expected to travel across the Kingdom during the tournament, Morocco’s airports will play a central role in welcoming fans from Africa and around the world. The installation of fan zones reinforces Morocco’s reputation for innovation, hospitality and high-quality infrastructure.

By integrating football entertainment into airport spaces, ONDA confirms its commitment to making AFCON Morocco 2025 a memorable experience from arrival to departure.
