The official AFCON 2025 mascot Assad reflects Moroccan identity and African pride.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organising Committee have officially revealed “Assad”, the official mascot of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025. The character is inspired by the Atlas Lion, a strong national symbol and a unifying figure across the continent.
