The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in partnership with its technical sponsor PUMA, has unveiled a special commemorative edition of the official match ball for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 final. The exclusive version of the ITRI ball will be used during the highly anticipated final taking place this Sunday.

A symbolic ball for a historic final

The AFCON 2025 final will see host nation Morocco face Senegal at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 pm local time (7:00 pm GMT). At the end of this decisive encounter, Africa’s new continental champion will be crowned.

To mark the occasion, CAF and PUMA have introduced a unique version of the ITRI ball, enhanced with elegant golden accents as a tribute to the two finalist teams and the prestige of the tournament’s climax.

A design inspired by Moroccan heritage

Used throughout the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Morocco 2025, the ITRI ball has stood out for its striking design inspired by traditional Moroccan zellige patterns. The ball features a central star, floral shapes and circular symmetry, reflecting both cultural identity and artistic heritage.

This special final edition elevates the original design by incorporating gold elements, symbolizing excellence, achievement and the crowning moment of African football’s flagship competition.

Cutting-edge technology meets tradition

The ITRI ball is engineered using PUMA’s advanced Orbita 6 technology, ensuring optimal performance, precision and durability at the highest level of competition. This fusion of innovation and tradition guarantees that players benefit from elite technical standards while celebrating African culture and craftsmanship.

With this special edition ITRI ball, CAF and PUMA underline their commitment to blending performance, symbolism and cultural expression. As Morocco and Senegal prepare to battle for continental glory, the commemorative match ball adds an extra layer of prestige to an AFCON 2025 final already set to make history.
