On High Instructions of King Mohammed VI, Prince Moulay Rachid received, on Monday at the Royal Guest Palace in Rabat, the members of the Morocco national football team, finalists of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025.
During the reception, Prince Moulay Rachid was greeted by the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, the national team’s head coach, and the players, before posing for an official commemorative photo. The ceremony underscored the high esteem accorded to the national team following their distinguished run in the tournament.
This royal reception reflects the continued support and high benevolence shown by King Mohammed VI toward youth development through sport, and the particular importance the Sovereign places on football as a driver of excellence, cohesion, and national pride. In a message sent after the final against Senegal national football team, the King congratulated the Atlas Lions for a campaign that demonstrated perseverance, discipline, and team spirit as essential foundations for achievement.
