Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), has officially announced that more than 800,000 tickets for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (21 December 2025 – 18 January 2026) have already been sold. The announcement was made on Wednesday, November 26, during a press conference held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora.
This milestone underscores the massive enthusiasm surrounding CAN Morocco 2025, marking one of the strongest early-ticket performances in the tournament’s history.
Morocco’s Matches Already Sold Out
According to le360.ma, Lekjaa says every match involving Morocco’s national team is officially sold out. All seats allocated on the CAF ticketing platform were purchased within hours.
The strong demand is consistent with previous updates from CAF. As reported earlier during Phase 2 and Phase 3 of AFCON ticket sales, tickets for both Morocco and Algeria were among the first to completely sell out.
Other major teams, including Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire (defending champions), Cameroon, and Senegal, will also be playing in front of full stadiums after their tickets sold out as well.
Fan ID Required for Ticket Purchases
As a reminder, obtaining a Fan ID is mandatory for purchasing tickets and accessing stadiums. This unique identification document allows:
- Secure and fluid entry into stadiums and fan zones
- Assistance with visa procedures for foreign fans
- Strict ticketing control (1 ticket per match per Fan ID)
